1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Bible Actually (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Bible Actually is an AI-powered Bible study companion app. It provides conversational Bible study tools, original language insights (Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic), multiple study modes, and camera-based Bible scanning features.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Bible Actually offers auto-renewing subscriptions processed through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.
4. Free Trial
Paid tiers offer a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription. You may cancel your free trial at any time through your App Store settings.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use automated scripts or bots to access or scrape the App
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the App or its content
- Use the App for anything other than personal, non-commercial Bible study
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, original content, and underlying code, is owned by Bible Actually and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.
7. Disclaimer
Bible Actually is a Bible study tool and is not a substitute for professional pastoral counsel, theological education, or professional advice of any kind. AI-generated responses are provided for educational and devotional purposes only and may not always be accurate. Users are encouraged to verify all information with trusted biblical sources and spiritual mentors.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bible Actually and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
